Beginners Course

If you're new to the sport of archery and fancy yourself as a potential Robin Hood, why not come along to one of the club sessions and arrange to have a go.

If a small taste of archery makes you hungry for more, then you'll probably want to have some lessons.  You can enrol on the beginners course.

The club will provide all the required equipment for use throughout the course.  The beginners course aims to provide new archers with an understanding and practical knowledge of some archery basics, including;

• Keeping yourself and others safe on the archery range
• Putting together and dismantling the bow
• Introduction to developing a good shooting technique

It always brings a sense of immense satisfaction and great achievment to see, how with just a bit of concentration and the right technique, your arrows start to go where you want them.

You don't need to be hugely fit and strong to take up Archery. What you need most is a positive attitude and to remember to always bring your smile onto the range.

Children and Adults are welcome (8 Years and above)

Children aged under 10 must be accompanied by a parent or adult carer.
